Dream Eyes Contacts Review

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experiences may differ

Here is the review that I have been most excited about doing....Dream Eyes Contact Lenses! These lenses are non-prescription - they are simply used to alter appearance. Dream Eyes was kind enough to send me one pair (my choice) of contact lenses. I chose Natural Aqua Color Contact Lenses.

First of all - the packaging. They are packaged safely - they come in a small box inside a bubble wrap envelope. Shipping took about 10 days for them to arrive. They do not come with a contact lens case (I know some online places send you a complimentary one). But they are relatively cheap and easy to find, so that is no big deal.

I have never used contact lenses before - so I was a little worried about getting them in. It took me about an hour and a couple Youtube videos to get them in the first time - but I did it! At first I found them very uncomfortable - I mean, there IS something on my eye haha. But after a couple minutes I got used to them and now I hardly notice they are on!

The website said that they would have "bold" results on even dark eyes. I do not consider my eyes "dark" - they are hazel. Surely they are not as light as blue and green eyes - so they are more medium, if that makes sense. So I was a little disappointed with them. They do not look especially vibrant or bold. They are supposed to look natural - which they do, I was just hoping for more of a change. They give my eyes a more deep green hue, rather than aqua. So if you have blue or green eyes - these will probably be very vibrant on you!

I am still happy with a the change, perhaps it is better to have a more natural look anyway. I am just so glad that I was finally able to get some color contact lenses to try out. I was afraid that they would irritate my eyes - but they do not! Overall, I give these a 4 out of 5, due to a slight lack of "vibrance." Although - I think I will have to purchase another pair in a different color, because they are pretty fun!
