I have been hearing a lot more hype about glass straws lately. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, because I will admit, I was pretty happy with my regular straws. It didn't know if these would be easy to drink out of, or it they would be too big, or too small.  After I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised with these straws. I drink a lot of ice water in the summertime, and always with a straw. I decided to try these out the day that I received them, and I have to say, the hole was not too large, or too small. I was able to easily drink out of it without getting too much or too little beverage.  I also tried the shorter straw in a can of soda, which I have decided was the best idea I have ever had. I like to drink everything with a straw, but putting a regular straw into a can of soda, is basically impossible! It just floats out! But, because these straws are glass, they are much heavier than your average plastic straw, they do not float out of the soda can.  Glass Dharma straws are handmade in the USA, and come with a lifetime guarantee! These straws completely blew my expectations out of the water! I will definitely be using these instead of my disposable straws. They make me feel good that I am not putting anymore plastic straws into our landfills.  Glass Dharma has also offered a giveaway to my readers for a $25.00 gift card! Visit Their Website! Tuggo Dog Toy Review & GIVEAWAY

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experiences may differ

I received one Tuggo Dog Toy to review. When it arrived, I was surprised by how big it is! On the pamphlet they even show a tiger playing with it! Wow. This is a 10 inch heavy duty ball with a 4 foot rope running through it. On their website I see it is available in blue, red, and green. You can fill the ball with water up to 20 pounds - providing tension used to help promote exercise. The sound of the splashing water keeps your dog interested.

I will be honest, at first my dogs had no idea what to do with this toy! But, with a little encouragement, they soon found out just how fun this toy can be! This provides a fun activity for just one dog, or for multiple. Please view the video below to see why my dogs recommend Tuggo Dog Toy:

Gold Elements Truffles Infusion Eye Cream Review & GIVEAWAY

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experiences may differ

Just the packaging says it all: this product is high quality!

Gold Elements sent me Truffle Infusion Eye Cream. This product is packed full of minerals and moisturizing and strengthening ingredients. This cream is meant to keep one feeling and looking radiant and youthful.

First of all, I absolutely love the packaging. It is very classy and sleek. I also love that the scent is not overpowering. This cream has a very subtle and light perfume scent. Not something that will make you want to sneeze or irritate your eyes. This cream goes on smooths and absorbs relatively quickly. It is not sticky at all, and I appreciate that. This Truffle Infusion Eye Cream leaves the skin around my eyes feeling smooth and firm.

I give Gold Elements' Truffle Infusion Eye Cream 5/5 stars! Visit their website HERE

Kur: The Scandinavian Bite-Size Bar REVIEW

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experiences may differ

3 flavors: Coconut Cashew, Brownie, and Cacao Mint
Kur originated in Denmark - where organic laws are strict and GMOs are not allowed. They are dedicated to staying true to these high standards.

Kur sent me 3 of their date and nut bars to review. Each of their products contains 100% raw ingredients, have no added sweeteners or syrups, are gluten-free, contain no dairy or soy, no GMOs, no sodium, and no preservatives - the list of their awesomeness goes on and on!! They are even Kosher and USDA & EU Organic Certified. Wow! That is quite impressive.

My personal favorite was the brownie. Their are only 6 ingredients and they are all organic! I especially enjoyed this one because you could really taste the cinnamon in it, and I love that in a brownie.

The cacao mint one tasted yummy as well! This one has 7 ingredients. I liked that this one had a little bit more of a crunch to it than the other two did.

Now we come to the coconut cashew bar - this one only has 4 ingredients! I did not care for this one - it tasted like coconut milk, which is probably why I didn't like it. But if you enjoy coconut milk, then this is the snack for you!

What I loved about these date and nut bars is that even though they have no added sweetener or syrups, they are still sweet like a dessert should be - but these are special because they are a healthy dessert! I also like the fact that they are such a convenient size - you can easily throw a couple in your purse or pocket for later if you are in a hurry.  Also, they don't have a weird grainy texture like some health bars I have come across.

Check out all these awesome certifications listed on them - gluten free, vegan, GMO free etc.

Snoopy!

"These are the times that make me want to go out and accomplish big things...tomorrow." and "Happiness is a thoughtful friend!"
Recently, I did a giveaway for one of my shadow box magnets. I make Peanuts, Vintage Coca-Cola, and Pokemon inspired ones. This led to a custom order :)

I love custom requests! This lady asked for two Snoopy inspired magnets, and here they are. Unfortunately I had trouble getting a better pic of them - they just weren't working with my light box. But I expect eventually I will figure out a better way.

Who is your favorite Peanuts character? Mine is Schroeder :)

*Interested in one but can't find them in my shop? Don't worry - I just haven't gotten around to listing them yet, but you can still have one! They are $10 including shipping & an additional $8 each if you order more than one.*

The Tesla Gate and $50 GIVEAWAY

I am happy to introduce to you "The Tesla Gate" - please read through and then enter to win a $50 Amazon gift card or Paypal cash!! How fun...don't forget to tell your friends!!

Tesla Gate

The Tesla Gate When a cosmic storm enters Earth’s atmosphere, scientists are baffled by its composition and origins, but not nearly as much as they are by the storm’s side effect – anyone who has died and chosen not to cross over is suddenly stranded here, visible, and can interact with the living. With the world thrown into chaos, Thomas Pendleton is eager to make up for many broken promises to his six-year-old son, Seth. Soon after the storm, they set out on a road trip to the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC, completely unaware of the social and political maelstrom they’re heading into that will change their lives forever.

Excerpt (The prologue) The day the storm hit, the world was changed forever. Its severity would not be measured in property damage or loss of life, although the latter could be argued. This storm’s impact turned man’s beliefs completely upside down; the social upheaval would be worse than the aftermath of any storm in history. Though this storm did not bring hurricane force winds, driving rain, cyclones or even floods, its effects would be far more subtle … but the impact every bit as palpable. This storm had unique origins and, unlike most weather events, it was not relegated to one geographic area. Indeed it covered the entire planet; no one was left unaffected. Living or dead.
