Kur: The Scandinavian Bite-Size Bar REVIEW

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experiences may differ

3 flavors: Coconut Cashew, Brownie, and Cacao Mint
Kur originated in Denmark - where organic laws are strict and GMOs are not allowed. They are dedicated to staying true to these high standards.

Kur sent me 3 of their date and nut bars to review. Each of their products contains 100% raw ingredients, have no added sweeteners or syrups, are gluten-free, contain no dairy or soy, no GMOs, no sodium, and no preservatives - the list of their awesomeness goes on and on!! They are even Kosher and USDA & EU Organic Certified. Wow! That is quite impressive.

My personal favorite was the brownie. Their are only 6 ingredients and they are all organic! I especially enjoyed this one because you could really taste the cinnamon in it, and I love that in a brownie.

The cacao mint one tasted yummy as well! This one has 7 ingredients. I liked that this one had a little bit more of a crunch to it than the other two did.

Now we come to the coconut cashew bar - this one only has 4 ingredients! I did not care for this one - it tasted like coconut milk, which is probably why I didn't like it. But if you enjoy coconut milk, then this is the snack for you!

What I loved about these date and nut bars is that even though they have no added sweetener or syrups, they are still sweet like a dessert should be - but these are special because they are a healthy dessert! I also like the fact that they are such a convenient size - you can easily throw a couple in your purse or pocket for later if you are in a hurry.  Also, they don't have a weird grainy texture like some health bars I have come across.

Check out all these awesome certifications listed on them - gluten free, vegan, GMO free etc.

De La Terre Skincare Review

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experiences may differ

De La Terre Skincare was kind enough to send me some samples of their products to review on my page. Their products are 100% synthetic free, gluten free, vegan, eco-friendly, AND cruelty free! I received Herb Rich Clay, Herb Rich Serum, and Herb Rich Balm.

When I opened the Herb Rich clay, I must say that I certainly was not a fan of the scent it gave off. But that is just me - the scent is very natural and herbal, which may appeal to some people. I used it twice a week, as per the directions. The second time I used it, I mixed it with my cleanser (which was stated as an option in the directions) - I thought this made the product easier to keep moist (as you must leave it on for 5 minutes and prevent it from drying). Though I had my doubts, this product greatly surpassed my expectations! My skin felt smoother and healthier! This product is very nourishing.

I was also a little skeptical about the Herb Rich Serum - it is oil based, so I was afraid it would make me break out. I have used this product daily for almost a week now, and have not noticed any extra acne developing as a result. My skin feels much more hydrated.

I was super excited when I saw they included herb rich balm - I LOVE lip glosses! My lips like to peel, so this product was amazing! My lips are much smoother - this product has a great moisturizing effect. It is even great for cuts! The balm soothed my cut, and in the product description I see that it can even help quicken the healing process.

Raw Food Central Review

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experiences may differ

Raw Food Central sent me some of their snack foods to review - Snack Mix, Onion Rings, Kale Chips, and Flax Crackers. Their snacks are organic, vegan, kosher, gluten free, and GMO free! And believe it or not, healthy snacks CAN taste good! Raw Food Central did not disappoint.

My favorite part about the Snack Mix was the peas - they had great flavor. So did the kale -seasoned to perfection! They are low calorie/low carb AND each serving has 33% of your Vitamin A. Here is one midnight snack you won't have to feel guilty over.

The Onion Rings - "never fried, never baked." Sadly, I was not a fan. Not surprising, as I have never been a fan of onions or onion rings. My brother loved them though! Here is a great treat for anyone who loves the taste of sweet onion - a great alternative to croutons on a healthy salad.

Now the Kale Chips - those were my mom's favorite! She loved how they are low carb AND have a great flavor. Actually, she enjoyed all these snacks - it is hard when you are on a low carb diet to find a variety of tasty low carb treats - so Raw Food Central is great for her. PLUS the Kale Chips are a great source of protein, calcium, and Vitamin A!

I thought that I would like the Flax Crackers the least - but I was so wrong! They are seasoned with Italian Seasonings and Celtic Sea Salt - so they pack a flavorful punch! And boy do I love the taste of garlic...I think I even prefer these to potato chips. They are a great source of protein, Vitamin C, and Iron. Perfect for dipping in guacamole, hummus, salsa, or my favorite - spinach dip! And so crunchy!

Check out their website to see what other products they offer and if they have a store near you. Soon you will be able to purchase these snacks straight from their website - my family is addicted, so we will certainly be purchasing when this feature is available.
